RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up the buying and product strategy and ensure the buying quality for all store types
- Visit and analyze stores to improve investment and flow strategies based on inventory levels, stock capacity, visual layout and other key component analysis and preparation of competitive market trend information
- Review stores assortment quarterly according to store sales
- To plan promo list for Retail monthly
- To plan alignment to product marketing calendar. Partner with marketing and visual merchandising to communicate direction for monthly new launch
- Provide missing opportunities using inventory management
- Provide monthly product GP% by store type
- Monitor deliveries & past due shipments (FOS/OSR)
- Provide Inventory Management by Sales Channel analysis
- Assist Merchandising Regional Manager to provide guidance to merchandising team
- Analysis and preparation of reports monthly
REQUIREMENTS
1. Requirements of position:
- At least 5 years of experience of merchandising for international brand
- Dynamic & positive
- Leadership
2. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Good understanding of retail business, product knowledge and understanding of brand positioning
- Ability to do product costing
- Strong fashion sense with strong analytical, numerical together with commercial awareness, ability to plan and prioritize
- Experience with gross margin, pricing and trend analysis
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Allocates time effectively, handles multiple demands and competing priorities
- High styling sense
- Excellent in communication both English & Vietnamese
- Market/ customer insight
3. Schedule requirement:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
- Traveling – store to store and buying travel
- Excellent ability to quickly identify problems & recommend solutions and be able to work under pressure
- Always available for traveling
