RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement buying strategies at a global level for all product and sales related items.
  • Own and execute the merchandise strategy and develop seasonal line plans based on data, trends, financial KPIs, and customer knowledge.
  • Partner with CEO/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to develop and execute financial plans / OTB plans while maintaining healthy inventory levels that support the needs of the business.
  • Work closely with creative and marketing on key initiatives and product/brand strategies to ensure direction aligns with overall brand vision.
  • Oversee product direction with regards to trends, newness, and opportunities.
  • Navigate the global logistics climate to deliver goods on-time and reduce lead-times through sourcing strategies, vendor allocation, and creative problem solving.
  • Manage vendor relationships with integrity while protecting our goals and quality standards.
  • Source and onboard new vendors that align with our quality, agility, and sustainability & social responsibility standards.
  • Ensure margin targets are always met and align and maintain global and local RRP master Price Lists for all customers and channels, including tracking VAT/TAX/Import duties/etc.
  • Lead key cross functional meetings to keep key stakeholders informed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, fashion merchandising, or related field.
  • Strong team player mentality with excellent commercial, analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a merchandising management role, preferably with a focus on retail, wholesale, or e-commerce across various markets, including SEA, Japan, US, and UK.
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable individual, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and high-performance work environment.
  • Proficiency in merchandising strategies, with a solid understanding of D2C KPIs and experience in utilizing platforms such as Shopify, as well as knowledge of UI, UX, and web development principles…
