RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Investor Outreach & Relationship Building:
- Identify and prospect potential investors through various channels, including leveraging personal networks, conducting thorough research, and attending industry events.
- Create a robust pipeline of potential clients to expand the firm’s investor base.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing investors and potential clients.
- Understand their investment preferences, risk tolerance, and financial goals to match them with suitable investment opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand the firm’s visibility and connect with potential investors.
- Utilize networking opportunities to build strategic relationships and generate new leads.
2. Fundraising & Pitching:
- Set and achieve fundraising targets aligned with the firm’s growth and capital deployment objectives.
- Continuously track progress and adapt sales strategies to meet or exceed goals.
- Deliver compelling investment presentations that highlight the firm’s investment strategies, track record, and potential for high returns in the venture capital sector.
- Tailor presentations to address individual client needs and preferences.
3. Due Diligence Support:
- Collaborate with the investment team to provide investors with comprehensive due diligence materials.
- Address any queries related to investment opportunities, facilitating the decision-making process.
4. Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investor interactions, fundraising progress, and relevant sales metrics.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market insights.
- Stay abreast of venture capital market trends, emerging sectors, and competitor activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record of success in raising capital for venture capital funds or similar alternative investment vehicles.
- In-depth knowledge of the venture capital industry, investment strategies, and emerging market trends.
- Strong network of high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and family offices interested in venture capital investments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred.
