RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support the company’s long-term goals and objectives
• Enhance decision-making by integrating financial data with operational data to provide a 360­degree view of the business
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits in different markets
• Oversee tax planning strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial stability
• Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
• Experience in managing accounting & no accounting projects such as software implementation, process improvements & more
• Stay abreast of and adapt to changing financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains compliant and competitive
• Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals – Foster a collaborative and high performing finance team
• Develop a talent management strategy for the finance team, focusing on attracting, retaining, and developing high­ potential talent
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business plans
• Participate in executive leadership meetings, contributing to the development and execution of corporate strategies
• Drive cross functional initiatives that contribute to the company’s strategic goals and operational efficiency
• Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Implement best practices in financial management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or CFA is a must
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheet (Index Match, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Experience in Xero accounting software is a must and bank apps like Airwallex, Payoneer and other banks
• Strong analytical skills, with a data driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Experience working with global teams and managing financial operations for a multinational organization
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high performing teams
• Strong planning, problem-solving and organizational & time management skills and is able to priorities and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
