RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Talent Acquisition:

  • Handle the talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, learning & development.
  • Implement talent acquisition strategies and hiring requirements in alignment with functional demand and country plan, to serve business current and future needs.
  • Responsible in actively engaging and working with line managers on manpower planning, acquisition and timely deployment to support business operations
  • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle of talent sourcing, identification, interview preparation and closing as per requests and timeline.
  • Take action to improve recruitment quality to meet short and long-term resources needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and fulfil hiring plans along with business timelines and ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are aligned with people strategies.
  • Discover, and attract experienced, diverse, ambitious talent to join the team.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses.
  • Screen and select candidates effectively by assessing both their previous experience as well as culture fit.
  • Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from the application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process.
  • Lead key initiatives and projects with our business teams, and other recruiting teams, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results.
  • Follow end to end hiring, including but not limited to sourcing, interview schedule, offer negotiation, onboarding preparation, reference checks, salary recommendations and closing of candidates; etc.
  • Conduct and upgrade on-boarding experience and orientation program for all staffs.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Handling employee complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholder and provide advice to business leaders on ways to navigate tricky cases.
  • Have solid knowledge and experience dealing with employment issues relating to EP, Spass, MOM.
  • Liaise and have relationship with current state regulation about local HR relevant authority, immigration.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement through offering ideas, solutions and frameworks to co-lead initiatives deployment.
  • Reviews employee engagement programs with objectives of driving cultural transformation and more efficient internal communications.
  • Be the resource person for Staff Welfare Committee and provides guidance in terms of budget utilization.
  • Ensuring the Company’s treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
  • Collating and analysing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
  • Partnering with both senior business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs.

3. Other HR Scope:

  • Work closely with internal HR team to ensure events/ activities from all sites go smoothly.
  • Positively contribute to build up the Department and Company’s teamwork.
  • Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Collect and analyze employee data.
  • Use data to create employee profiles.
  • Organize and update employee files.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses.
  • Oversee employee orientation and training.
  • Other assigned duties as requested and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, preferably in Human Resources.
  • At least 5 years of professional human resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and demonstrated ability to provide HR solutions in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience of local employment laws and regulations and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of Australia employment laws & regulations is an added advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • High sense of urgency and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player, highly motivated and energetic.
  • Good MS Office knowledge.
