RESPONSIBILITIES

1. People Management:

  • Ensure team to follow and implement strictly all regulations, policies, instructions issued by the Management of ABI and by laws.
  • Lead functional business partners to co-ordinate with business leaders and functional managers to facilitate and drive annual people processes including performance management, people development, talent identification and development, succession planning and employee engagement survey and follow-up.
  • Join with L&D team to facilitate training need analysis (TNA), cascade training catalog, training eligibility registration and facilitate relevant colleagues into training sessions and follow-up post trainings.
  • Continue assess existing functional development centers to revamp (if any) and to moderate internal development assessment and development plan for selective talents.
  • Join with business leaders and People Head to facilitate performance and potential assessments and plan for promotions, internal lateral movements and validate/manage offering and communicate properly.
  • Establish smooth channels of communication.
  • Manage People S&L budget & VIC Labor casual worker.

2. Recruitment:

  • Partner with business leaders for workforce planning and new hired position validation prior recruitment.
  • Lead recruitment process through executions of recruitment specialist and business partners to drive speedy hiring process and to get right people in for maintaining business continuity.
  • Join with People COE team to facilitate S&L talent acquisition activities including campus talks, career fairs, EVP, employer branding on social media, etc.
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates: Industry Contacts, Association Memberships, Trade Groups and Employees.

3. General Management:

  • Prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Attend meetings and seminars as necessary and to represent the department in order to coordinate HR related things with other departments.
  • Maintain personnel database and personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and company policies.
  • Implement fully and timely HR procedures and flows, include but not limited to processes relating to Probation assessment, Labour Contract milestones, Leave monitoring, Immigration for expats-employees (work permit, visa, resident cards); support in accident and health insurance, position descriptions updates; on-boarding for new employees; allowance delivery.
  • Lead the coordination with other functions or Admin function to ensure people-related activities or events to happen timely.
  • Conduct relevant projects or tasks as and when assigned in a timely manner.

4. Engagement:

  • Build and increase the engagement for team through mindset, collective activities and training.

5. Industrial Relationship, Employee Relationship, Internal Communication:

  • Act as a channel for two-way communication.
  • Maintain a good employee relations.
  • Responsible for HR compliances, including the propaganda, training, reminders and implementation of legally-required activities for plant scope.
  • Investigate staff grievance and discipline cases and conduct counseling
  • Make recommendations on HR matter for legal, procedural and documentary compliance and fair employee treatments.
  • Exit interviews of leaving staff, identify reasons for staff turnover, highlight issues to line management and recommend program/ HR solutions.
  • Counsel employees on discipline actions; disputes; illness or disability; and performance problems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field.
  • 10+ years’ working experience in HR department or relevant with at least 4+ years as HR Business Partner at management level; working experiences in FMCG industry is a plus.
  • Conversant in English and Vietnamese.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with local labor code and related regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintain cross-functional relationship and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skillset.
