RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the lead project manager, clients and architect/building designer from the design stage through to project completion.
  • Be responsible for all phases from initial client meetings, as-built drawings, permitting, and materials selections, with others you will share these responsibilities with an architect or building designer.
  • Collaborate with the lead project manager to write construction proposals.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, and monitoring expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices throughout the design and implementation process.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess client satisfaction, project success, and areas for improvement in future projects.
  • Actively seek out new opportunities, develop business and build strong, long-term relationships with current customers.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualifications/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university is preferred.
  • 05 years or more experience working in the field.
  • Be proactive, flexible and have a high sense of work responsibility.
  • Foreign language: English.

2. Skills:

  • Demonstrate fluency with basic residential and small-scale commercial building materials, details and construction techniques.
  • Familiarity and interest in sustainable design and materials.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Easily able to cultivate, build and nurture lasting client relationships.
  • Works flexibly and collaboratively with designers and architects.
  • Experience in researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, construction schedules and fees.
