RESPONSIBILITIES

A. PLANNING, MANAGING AND MONITORING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COMPANY’S JEWELRY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT IN CURRENT AND FUTURE:

1. Managing and supervising the production activities and providing Master samples for the Company’s production process:

  • Managing and supervising the reception of Drawings, Sample Files… and technical information and approved customer requirements.
  • Controlling the design for conformity between requirements and existing technology and equipment.
  • Responding to any discrepancies and requesting instructions.
  • Implementing prototyping.
  • Implementing trial production, reporting trial results, proposing optimal manufacturing solutions.
  • Checking and evaluating Master Samples that meet safety standards with low risks in production.
  • Transfer all testing information according to relevant knowledge control regulations.

2. Directing the staff of the Department on Current Product Research:

  • Organize activities to approach internal customers and consumers to grasp technical complaints and dissatisfaction with the Company’s current jewelry products.
  • Identify and determine technical errors of products when used and propose corrective actions.
  • Self-evaluate and analyze the technical features, scientific structure of Accessories, Findings and the safety of use of the Company’s current products, propose improvements to increase the quality of use, increase user satisfaction (even if there is no feedback).
  • Analyze and identify competitive advantages of the Company’s products and competitor products on the market, propose product improvements to increase advantages.
  • Through the Quality Management Department, receive feedback on product quality and jointly identify the causes.
  • Propose plans for Trial Production and introduce improved product simulations.
  • Jointly responsible for product quality to the Company’s Board of Directors.
  • Propose compensation for damages due to non-compliance with prescribed procedures.
  • Propose or advise the Director on plans to prevent identified potential risks.
  • Develop and manage the Department’s budget reasonably.

3. Monitor and implement the production process:

  • Manage the list of equipment, machinery, and CCDC in the system being invested.
  • Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of equipment use throughout the Company, specifically:
  • Identify non-conformities in: layout/ features/ capacity/ operation/ purpose of use/ safety of use/ quantity, and energy consumption costs when using… Propose improvements to overcome non-conformities or replacement.
  • Identify outdated equipment and inappropriate technical processes, search for new technological equipment and technical processes to replace them with higher productivity and modernity.
  • Analyze the benefits and cost-effectiveness of replacement using scientific calculation methods.
  • Approve projects to replace and invest in new technology and equipment for current product lines.

B. BUILDING A PLAN, MANAGING AND IMPLEMENTING NEW PRODUCT RESEARCH FOR THE FUTURE:

1. Building a plan and implementing product research for the future:

  • Organize activities to approach internal customers and consumers to grasp new product needs.
  • Access to trends in future jewelry products in the world.
  • Collect and provide information on new products circulating in domestic and foreign markets, and products of competitors that are selling well.
  • Research the design, shape, aesthetics, and usage features of the Company’s jewelry products in the future to propose trial production.
  • Research product lines with competitive advantages and propose technology investment.
  • Propose funding for trial production of new products.
  • Direct the implementation of simulation products.
  • Introduce and communicate new products.

2. Direct the activities of the Department to carry out interactive activities to create products that meet requirements, including:

  • Supervise and coordinate with the Electromechanical Engineering Department and the Company’s production areas on activities to deploy and implement new technologies.
  • Provide relevant operational data on technology such as operating procedures, production procedures, and technical procedures to relevant units and coordinate with the Quality Management Department to control compliance during the process.
  • Respond to nonconformities and be authorized to request the suspension of nonconformities.
  • Advise and propose action programs on Technology and be responsible as a member of the technical system for the development of Product Technology.

C. COORDINATION MECHANISM BETWEEN INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL UNITS:

  • Coordinate the implementation of new technology activities with the electromechanical engineering department and the Company’s production areas. Respond to non-conformities and be authorized to request the suspension of non-conformance processes.
  • Provide requirements and data on products and work with the Quality Management Department to inspect completed products on the first production run.
  • Advise and propose action plans on products and be responsible as a member of the technical system for the development of product engineering.
  • Perform the management role and properly execute the interactive responsibilities of the Head of Department in relations with the internal technical and system blocks.

D. LEADERSHIP AND TEAM GUIDE:

  • Lead and convey awareness to the team about the Company’s mission, vision and core values.
  • Lead and command the team to effectively implement strategic goals.
  • Encourage and encourage a proactive and creative working spirit.
  • Build and develop a spirit of self-awareness among all employees by linking work efficiency to employee benefits.
  • Control compliance with the unit’s rules and regulations and be responsible to the Board of Directors.
  • Supervise the interests of all parties in the system including employers and employees on the basis of fairness, reasonableness and transparency in work performance.

E. MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATION OF TRAINING, TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT OF EMPLOYEE KPIS:

  • Organize professional skills training sessions for employees.
  • Organize discussions to share professional experiences with employees.
  • Make a human resource plan, assign appropriate work according to job requirements.
  • Control, urge, and motivate employees to complete their work well and on time.
  • Conduct performance evaluations according to the established performance scale for each position. Propose rewards or disciplinary actions for employees in the department to the Board of Directors.
  • Periodic or ad hoc reports

F. OTHER TASKS:

  • Build, deploy, and monitor the activities of the Company’s Research and Development Department with assigned resources to meet the Company’s strategic product and technology goals.
  • Advise the Company’s Board of Directors on all matters related to the Company’s products, production technology, and product manufacturing to enhance usability, achieving “sophistication” and “pride” for users.
  • Responsible to the Company’s Board of Directors for the Company’s current and future products and jewelry manufacturing technology.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Education:

  • Degree and major: University.
  • Major: Mechanical, Automation or related Engineering.
  • Foreign language proficiency (if required): English level B or equivalent
  • Other qualifications required for the profession: Basic electroplating chemistry, Quality management or
  • Industrial management.

2. Related experience:

  • Number of years of experience in a similar position (scope, scale, industry, etc.): 3 years in a similar position.
  • Number of years of work experience related to the current job: Have been in charge of Technical
  • Management for at least 01 year, have a relative understanding of jewelry, gold, silver production.
  • Can be in the jewelry industry or automobile, fashion, technology equipment production.
