RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the official stores (online and offline) to drive sales revenue.
  • Manage the operations of stores (daily operations, merchandising, inventory, maintenance)
  • Build and improve workflow and operational processes to increase performance of the retail team (sales, customer service, bike servicing, store operations)
  • Control and optimize operational costs, including staffing, supplies, and services.
  • Design and measure performance metrics of the team and take actions to improve.
  • Analyze data to improve sales and customer experience at the stores.
  • Lead, forecast, recruit, and develop operations staff in line with growth projection.
  • Misson: Scale the retail team and achieve the monthly revenue of $1M in 6 months and $2M in 18 months.
    – Outcomes: Grow monthly revenue to $1M in 6 months and to $2M in 18 months. Stores will be profitable in 6 month.
    – Compentencies: Scaled revenue from $5M to >20M. Experienced invleading online-to-offline retailers with at least 5 offline stores. Strong salesvtalent network and led sales teams of 20+ sales people.
  • Misson: Each store will be profitable in 6 months.
    – Outcomes: Build retail operations processes to manage daily operations, and retail tracking system to measure effectiveness and efficiency of retail team. Build training programe including onboarding and continuous training, to improve effectiveness of retail team.
    – Compentencies: Experience in automotive industry, preferably in 2-wheeler, or in selling physical tech products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions in automotive industry or in selling physical tech products, with proven track record to meet and exceed goals.
  • Substantial understanding and knowledge of omnichannel operations with national retailers across multiple channels.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Systematic, data driven, and entrepreneurial approach to accomplishing goals with far fewer resources than a big company would have.
  • Bias for action; self-starter approach to challenging the status quo.
  • Versatile and results driven.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously, without formal requirements documentation, in a fast-paced environment; ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to travel (10-30%) required.
