RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Capital Management:

  • Monitor and report internally on capital adequacy and adjustment of capital plans to Group Financial Strategy, Capital Management Committee.
  • Prepare capital adequacy ratio report of actual and forecast to Group FS on a monthly basis.
  • Engage with Group Financial Strategy in regular capital performance and funding reviews.
  • Manage end-to-end ICAAP annual exercise by working effectively with various internal and external stakeholders including MC, CMC, Risk, IA, external auditor to plan and execute stress scenarios testing and capital modelling to determine required capital requirement. Prepare decks for presentation to internal and external stakeholders. Secure necessary approvals per ICAAP policy for timely submission to SBV.
  • Forecast CAR for current and upcoming years to ensure effective planning of capital injection.
  • Manage capital injection planning for both Bank and Constellation project.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory, legal or accounting changes to provide inputs on capital plans and Creative.

2. Performance Management:

  • Support the bank on performance measurement and analysis of financial results in an accurate/ timely manner.
  • Track/ manage financial budget and forecast cycles.
  • Analysis on drivers of business profitability.
  • Prepare presentation and communication to internal/ external stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business or Accounting with relevant work experience in a financial institution.
  • Good understanding of bank’s capital structure and regulatory requirement on Cir 13.
  • Essential to have strong analytical and communication skills, along with an ability to work with senior stakeholders against tight deadlines.
  • Strong influencing and good people management skills.
  • Strong MIS reporting skills with advanced knowledge in excel, access and powerpoint.
