RESPONSIBILITIES

A. OVERVIEW:

  • Manage the production activities of the painting department according to the assigned tasks and plans according to the SEQCDM objectives. Organize work assignments, urge and guide the team in the production shift to ensure the correct progress, quality requirements and meet the department’s objectives.
  • Manage all machinery, equipment, materials, finished products, semi-finished products, warehouses, goods, etc. in the assigned area to ensure the overall production activities of the department.

B. TASKS DETAILS:
1. 5S, safety, environment, improvement items:

  • Implement the development of 5S standards and criteria for positions and areas of the department.
  • Build, implement, maintain and inspect 5S activities in the department.
  • Develop programs, inspection and assessment activities to ensure safety in the fire prevention and fighting labor workshop in the department.
  • Promote activities to develop occupational safety risks.
  • Manage waste classification at the source.
  • Build and promote improvement activities of the department.

2. Quality category (Q):

  • Build quality goals of the department, action plans and methods to monitor the implementation of goals.
  • Manage product quality at stages according to technical standards and manage statistical activities, analyze errors periodically (weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Promote the implementation of countermeasures and respond to countermeasures for quality issues related to the department.
  • Manage the control and classification activities of NG goods of the department.
  • Manage the quality of machinery, mold equipment, jic to ensure service for the production activities of the department.
  • Develop operating standards, inspection standards for positions.
  • Collaborate with related departments in new product testing activities.
  • Develop, deploy and control the implementation activities to ensure the maintenance of the department’s ISO/IATF quality management activities.
  • Report monthly departmental quality goals.

3. Cost items (C):

  • Manage energy usage to ensure economical and safe use.
  • Control the use and improve the usage process for main and auxiliary materials for the right purpose, avoiding wasteful consumption.
  • Propose measures to promote increased labor productivity of the department.

4. Progress items (D):

  • Develop and deploy production plans for the department according to the general plan of the factory.
  • Coordinate and organize production activities to ensure the department’s production plan.
  • Control the production plans of the teams in the department, resolve any unusual incidents that affect the production plan.
  • Manage statistical activities, monitor production plans, import and export of goods and materials in the department.
  • Calculate machine and human capacity, from there build standards and capacity for production stages based on machine and human capacity.
  • Build standards for main and auxiliary materials…
  • Propose recruitment according to backup and ad hoc plans… to ensure production plans.

5. Human resource management category (M):

  • Determine the training needs of the department and implement training activities for the department to meet qualified resources for production.
  • Carry out recruitment activities with the HR department.
  • Manage daily leave of employees to ensure compliance with the company’s and department’s goals.
  • Carry out periodic and ad hoc employee evaluation activities…
  • Propose rewards, discipline, transfers, appointments, and salary increases for employees in the department.
  • Develop the department’s human resources according to the general direction of the department and the company.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Education/Experience:

  • University/College graduate majoring in chemical engineering. Have management experience and understanding in the paint field.
  • Have experience as a manager in manufacturing plants for over 5 years (managing personnel of 30 or more employees)
  • Understanding of ISO quality system (IATF is an advantage), 7 QC tools and LEAN/TS.
